Venue
he Conference will take place at Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC) in Avenida do Brasil 110, Lisbon. The campus is very near the airport and easily reachable by underground from the centre of the down (about 30 minutes from Rossio plus a short walk).
To reach LNEC take the Underground to ALVALADE. At Alvalade go through the automatic gates and after passing the ticket machines turn twice on your right side, into a tunnel leading to Praça de Alvalade. When you exit the tunnel turn left into Avenida da Igreja. Go up Av.Igreja to Av.Rio de Janeiro. Turn left and walk straight to the end of the street where you will be facing Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (Art Deco building with name proeminently written on the façade, over the main doors). The total walking time should be about 15 minutes, at a leasured pace (see the map below).
At LNEC enter the front door and you will see directing signs. The plan below shows in red the location of the Auditorium where the Conference will take place (just behind the Main Building and connected to it by an elevated walkway).
