01 Apr 2013 - The selected grant holder (Jessica Musacchi, Conservation Scientist) started her work at LNEC. Vânia Brito, the other selected grant holder, continued her work.

01 Feb 2013 - Closing date for applications for two research grants within the scope of the project.

21 Jan 2013 - Call opening for applications for two research grants within the scope of the project.

15 Oct 2012 - Reformulation of the project was approved by FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia). The project was extended for one more year.

11 Jan 2011 - Measurements of water vapour pressure above water saturated materials started with the new equipment (Rotronic).

30 Dec 2010 - A set of capillary absorption tests was completed.

15 Dec 2010 - A new testing protocol for the 3D surface measurements had to be defined according supplier indications because an error was detected (backlash effect). All measurements had to be repeated.

08 Nov 2010 - A set of drying tests at 50% of RH and 20ºC was accomplished.

01 Oct 2010 - A set of drying tests at 26% of RH and 20ºC was accomplished.

20 Sep 2010 - A testing protocol for the 3D surface measurements was established.

23 Aug 2010 - The 3D surface profiling system (Taylor Hobson) was received and installed. Team attended a training session.

19 Jul 2010 - The materials that will be used in Task 3 were selected based on a set of preliminary tests (porosity accessible to water, pore-size distribution, saturation coefficient and hygroscopic moisture content).

20 May 2010 – The precision air conditioning unit (Uniflair) was received and installed in a lab room at LNEC where most of the work of the DRYMASS project will be carried out.

04 May 2010 - The equipment for vapour pressure measurement with temperature control (Rotronic) was delivered at LNEC.

16 Apr 2010 - Kick-off meeting took place.

29 Mar 2010 - The selected grant holder (Vânia Brito, Civil Engineer) started her work at LNEC.

01 Feb 2010 - The project started.
