Purpose
The goal of the Web Shaker
Module is to make available on the internet, for educational purposes, a small
electric 1D shaking table with an analogue PID control system. Several types of
specimens can be tested, from 1 d.o.f. to more complex m.d.o.f specimens.
The module allows the remote
control of the shaking table - input definition (with some constraints), assist
the test through a web-cam and visualize the output data (e.g. shaking table
displacements several measurements on the specimens). It is also possible to
turn on a light to execute the test at night.

Main Features
-
Support to several output signals to the shaking
table (sine, square, triangle and sawtooth waves, uniform white noise,
gaussian white noise and user defined functions).
-
Support for several acquisition channels (shaking
table displacements and accelerations, and several model measurements);
-
Light switch control;
-
Movie support to watch the test;
-
Calibration of the optic
displacement transducers automatic procedure;
