STRUCTURES EC8 - Seismic Behaviour of
Precast Concrete Structures with Respect
to Eurocode 8.
Objectives:
The
Project has two distinct parts:
one experimental and the other
analytical. Several seismic
tests on typical European
precast structures will be
performed by the participating
experimental facilities, both on
full structures and joints
(beam-column and
column-foundation). The results
from the tests will be used to
calibrate the analytical models.
Afterwards, the data from the
models is going to be
statistical analysed in order to
evaluate the Eurocode 8
prescriptions, namely the
behaviour factor.
